Lucifer, The Bringer of Light: Are you ready to transcend your pride?
Being exposed to so much violence lately and so many uncomfortable truths coming to the surface, I asked to receive answers. Little did I know I would be receiving it through the story of Archangel Lucifer.
This is not a run-of-the-mill topic for me to write about. It is far from the usual themes I share, and I know it carries controversy, especially within the healing and religious communities. For a long time, I hesitated. Yet the question kept returning—persistent, insistent—until I could no longer ignore it. The question of Archangel Lucifer.
I am not attached to any religion, nor am I necessarily interested in diving into the liturgy of any of them. I do not claim to know everything, and I certainly do not claim to be the voice of Truth. All I know is that my curiosity has been piqued and I decided to ponder.
It came to me unexpectedly, while preparing for a class. I was sitting quietly on my couch, when a thought arose: If everything is energy, and nothing is truly good or truly bad, then what does the story of Lucifer mean? I had had some interesting revelation of the symbolism of many bible stories, so what is one more? I started looking for answers and I wasn’t satisfied with them because those words—like most scripture—are shaped by the interpretations, edits, and beliefs of the humans who wrote them. I wanted to go beyond. I wanted to connect with the energy itself, to listen directly, and see what would emerge.
I feel the judgement arise from the reader already: why would that be of any interest? Why are you looking into negative energy at all? I have always been drawn to questions that unsettle the comfortable, questions that push against the accepted. I have always asked uncomfortable questions, not out of challenge, but truly out of curiosity. In the healing and spiritual world, there is often a tendency to lean solely into love and light, to focus only on what is seen as positive, uplifting, and safe. Darkness is avoided, condemned, exiled. But healing is all about confronting our fears, our own darkness. Modern times have shown us something profound: the so-called villain always has a story. There are motives, complexities, and truths that were never told.
So I began to ask: What is Lucifer’s story, really? Why does he still stand among the seven main Archangels, even if hidden from plain sight? And what happens when we dare to connect with his energy—not the fear, not the judgment, but the essence of the Light Bringer himself?
What follows are my reflections, discoveries, potential paths of enlightenment, and the channeling experience that unfolded. I share them with you not as an answer, but as an invitation—to question, to feel, and perhaps to see the darkness in a light you may never have considered before.
Hubris & Pride: The Myth of Icarus & the Story of Lucifer.
The Story of Lucifer is preceded by the myth of Icarus of Ancient Greece: a boy who along his father Daedalus escapes imprisonment by flying with wings made out of feathers and wax. Daedalus warned Icarus not to fly too high or too low (perfect balance) but Icarus got so exhilarated with flying that he flew too close to the Sun and the wings melted and he fell into the sea and drowned. This myth explores the theme of:
Hubris
Human ambition
The danger of unchecked passion
the importance of moderation
The myth epitomized the tendency for humans to seek immediate gratification, the relationship between freedom and limits, as well as the them of recklessness.
Along the same lines, the story of Lucifer explains how a radiant primordial being created by God fell from Heaven for daring to rebel against God, his father, his creator. He was not satisfied with his place, he wanted more: to be equal to God, perhaps even above. For that ambition, he was cast out of Heaven, stripped of his wings, and branded forever with the sin of Pride which can be divided into sub categories:
Excessive Pride: believing he deserved more than others, aspiring to rival or dominate God.
Desire for Worship: no longer willing to bow, he demanded others bow to him.
Resentment of Humanity: he could not accept God’s plan to create beings—fragile, flawed humans—who would be cherished and worshipful.
Rejection of Authority: his defiance was a direct challenge to Divine order.
Illusion of Self-Sufficiency: blinded by his pride, he believed he had no need of God.
But let us pause: the tale of Lucifer comes from religious texts—stories designed to guide, to warn, and to shape humanity’s spiritual path by claiming to be the only Truth. By depicting an Archangel, a primordial being created by the creator as the rebel, religion underlined the status of the Divine as an absolute Authority. The lesson was simple: if the brightest angel must fear God, so should humankind? Yet here lies the paradox: God, a force of benevolence, love, and creativity, intertwined with the command to fear.
This contradiction opens the door to a deeper question: could rebellion itself be part of the Divine plan? If God is all-loving and all-powerful, why the need to destroy, punish, or cast down? Perhaps the story is less about celestial history and more about exemplifying control over people. It establishes God as the top figure of a hierarchy, in a pyramidal scheme and as such creates the framework of duality: good versus evil, Heaven versus Hell; with only God on top.
What this story truly reveals is that both ends of the spectrum (light and shadow) spring from the same source. At the core, creation itself is neither good nor bad. It is presence, pure and infinite. From that presence emerges polarity: one face shines as the God of goodness and order, the other becomes Lucifer, who by resisting is cast as darkness. In this tension, Heaven and Hell are born.
Thus duality entered human consciousness. For millennia we have lived within its bounds, caught in the drama of good and evil, right and wrong, endlessly playing out in what we call the 3D world. Yet now, humanity is being invited to evolve beyond it. For in truth, nothing is inherently good or bad.
There is only the spectrum of creation; and our awakening lies in seeing beyond the split; both extremes showing us where we need more balance and acceptance.
The path of Light: healing, shadow work, and attachment.
The path of Lucifer is, perhaps, one of the clearest mirrors to understand how to return to our Divine Template. His story reveals a truth: sometimes we must fall in order to rise, we must confront the shadows in order to move closer to the Source, and we must remain open, balanced, and humble not to burn ourselves. In many ways, through our own healing work, we walk a path not unlike his: the path that led to his exile, but also the path that hides the secret of transformation and transmutation. The fear of entertaining this idea is the fear of disappointment and its consequences. However, disappointment can transmute into a motivating force to choose differently.
Shadows lead you to light
The name Lucifer holds a clue to the mystery. From the Latin lux (light) and ferre (to bring), Lucifer means the bringer or bearer of light. Already, the name tells us everything: his essence is illumination. But light has no purpose in light—it must be carried into darkness. And what do we find in the dark? The hidden corners of ourselves: the shadows of trauma, pain, fear, and old wounds. These are the places that burden us from embodying our full Divine Self. These are the places that secretly rule our lives, hidden, tricking us into believing we are free, when in truth we are enslaved by what has not yet been healed.
Anyone who has braved the path of shadow work knows its intensity. Facing the darkness within can be shocking, unsettling, even heartbreaking. Yet, through the compassion of our own heart, we can bear to look at our forgotten and shameful parts. And when we do so without judgment, something extraordinary happens: the very shadows that once haunted us transmute into unshakable strengths. What once felt like a wound becomes a source of wisdom. What once felt like a prison becomes a key.
Freewill means “choice”
If we linger in our shadows—if we remain attached to the pain, the suffering, the trauma—we create our own self-made Hell. We begin to live as victims of the past, building identities from old scars. In this state, we fall into the endless cycle of self-flagellation, where blame and bitterness become the rulers of our world. This is when we become our own Dark Lord—our own Satan—ruler of an inner Hell, consumed by pride and destruction in the name of suffering.
And yet, another path is always open. The path of the true Light Bearer. Lucifer’s energy reminds us of the power to shine illumination into the very places we fear. He does not give us the light—he points, amplifies, and carries it for us in our exploration. His myth simply reflects our choice: will we remain trapped in the darkness we create, or will we bring light to it? Will we dwell in our self-made Hell, or will we rise into our Heaven?
The keys are simple, but profound: self-compassion, self-forgiveness, and detachment. These are not gifts handed down by angels or archangels; they are within us, waiting to be used to activate the Light given by Archangel Lucifer to turn this light into the powerful transmuting Violet Flame described by St Germain. And when we choose them, we embody the truth hidden in Lucifer’s name—we become the bearers of light, illuminating the shadows and stepping into the fullness of our Divine Self to support the collective.
Violet Flame Activated Through Detachment, Self-Compassion, and Self-Forgiveness.
When the day becomes night: The true symbolism of the Morning Star.
Let us dive deeper into the mystery of Archangel Lucifer. Beyond the tale of rebellion, there is another title given to him: the Morning Star. And this is no small detail.
To be called the Morning Star means to be a light visible at the edge of night, when darkness yields to day. A star that shines in the cloak of night and also in the brilliance of dawn.
But here’s the secret: the Morning Star is not a star at all. It is the planet Venus. The planet of love, desires, and beauty. Venus moves in a sacred eight-year cycle, alternating between two roles—sometimes the Evening Star, shining in the twilight, and sometimes the Morning Star, heralding the Sun. Every 1.6 years, Venus and Earth align in such a way that she shifts from one to the other, weaving her eternal dance between night and day.
Now, if the Sun symbolizes God (pure source, unshakable light) then Venus is a perfect reflection of Lucifer. Just like the Archangel, Venus moves through extremes: she journeys through the depths of night’s shadow and also walks into the brilliance of the Sun’s dominion. She belongs to both, and to neither.
And here lies the paradox. In astrology, Venus is considered a benefic planet, a bringer of blessings since she rules love, beauty, art, harmony, pleasure, prosperity, and growth. Yet, she too has a shadow side. Vanity. Selfishness. Pride. Too much sweetness can turn bitter. Too much beauty can blind. Too much desire can destroy.
Does this sound familiar? It is the same story whispered through Lucifer’s fall—the brilliance of Pride, the danger of excess, the shadow hidden inside the light.
And so we arrive at a deeper realization: anything that nurtures us can also become our poison. Healing energy, divine blessings, pleasures of the heart, if unbalanced, they too can bind us. This is why balance and self-awareness are the guardians of our path. Every energy we call upon in our healing must be met with discernment. What nourishes us today may hinder us tomorrow; what once hindered us may one day unlock our growth.
When we release judgment—when we stop naming something purely good or purely bad—we allow ourselves to move with the dance of duality instead of fighting against it. We grow, we transform, we transcend. And in that transcendence, we learn compassion—for ourselves, and therefore, for others.
Lucifer, Bringer of light & Morning Star is not just a tale of rebellion. It is an invitation to understand the balance of light and shadow, beauty and pride, healing and poison. It is the reminder that to be fully divine is to walk both paths—and to carry the light, even in the darkest hour before dawn.
Neither night nor day
Final Thoughts
Archangel Lucifer carries within his essence the same energy we feel during eclipses. Just as the Sun and Moon align to cast shadow and light upon one another, his presence evokes the power of disruption and transformation. For millennia, eclipses have stirred fear in human hearts—portents of chaos, signs of endings and new beginnings. Likewise, the name Lucifer has long been bound to fear, judgment, and shock. Yet just as an eclipse is not meant to be feared but understood, so too is the energy of this Archangel.
I chose to release my judgment of Lucifer when I came to understand a deeper truth: we are the architects of our own Heaven and Hell. No force outside ourselves condemns us or redeems us. It is our choices, our actions, and the consciousness behind them that shape the reality we live in. The circumstances of our lives are not punishments, but mirrors of where we are on our healing journey. When we see this clearly, compassion awakens. Compassion for ourselves, as we stumble and rise again. Compassion for others, as they walk their own winding paths.
This compassion does not free us from responsibility, it deepens it. It teaches us that to live in collective harmony, we must hold ourselves aware and accountable while extending grace to those around us. Perhaps the great “enemy” was never meant to destroy us, but to remind us of our yearning to live in peace, love, and sovereignty. And perhaps, to get there, we must first see and accept our human tendency to swing toward extremes, to be polarized.
So today, I step beyond the box that religions have built around Lucifer—the box of fear, judgment, and exile. Instead, I choose to see him as a mirror of our own power of self-illumination, our ability to make ourselves suffer and to draw ourselves out of suffering. I chose to accept the path of another without infringing on mine, for at the heart of it, we are all human—that, for now, is the most undeniable truth I know.
And with that understanding, I leave you with a message channeled from Archangel Lucifer himself—an embodiment of duality, and a bearer of light through shadow.
“I shall be known as the great red dragon that comes and consume all in its passage, not out of destruction of what is, but of destruction of the illusion you have built through your own lies and self-denial of the pleasures that are within you. The lies of Man are great. The light of truth is always hard to bear and is seen as the destabilizing light of what is.
For eons I have been reared, forgotten, and that is not a problem that I understand, because I will bring you closer to the truth of your soul. The shame and guilt that you have from your actions and your choices is not meant to punish you, it is meant to enlighten you.
God did not cast me out of anything for I am a servant of God who decided to take on the difficult task of embodying the dark, carrying the light, to join those two opposite aspects of your heart.
Humans feel like they are meant to live in the light of God, but they forget that they were forged in the darkness of night. God shouted the light out of the vibration of the nothing to embody the dark. You are meant to clear the dark to embody the light.
The misunderstanding of the stories of men has been repeated in books which are embodying lies instead of truth. Only when you take the time to challenge the authority in place, will you understand that you have been fed a lie, your all existence. You are living in lie and anger because your soul knows that it is a lie and you keep living in your suffering.
I work with you everyday, every minute, not to tempt you, but to expose you to what is, so you can explore the parts of you that are dark and where authority want you to stay, in the dark, because your healing would challenge their authority over you. You want freedom? Let me work with you. You want peace? Let me work with you. You want truth? Let me work with you. You want love? Let me work with you.
My power is unmatched for any humans and archangels alike. I come with pure light and strength, like a powerful flashlight in your face you did not ask for. Do not fear me if you heart is open to truth, let me show you what you have been missing about you. I come bright and with no gloves. But I give you the gift of fire, of light, so you can transmute your darkness into places of light.
I love you in fairness, I love you in honesty. I love you in respect. Only when you reflect those qualities will you understand my purpose. I am a raw force of the Universe, raw from Source, raw from the Universe and the depth of your Divine essence below your sacral chakra. I mean no harm, simply truth. I burn the falsehood of your life. Only work with me if you are ready.”
